Frequently asked questions

Are your programs suitable for beginners?

Everyone starts somewhere, and we understand that not everyone comes from an athletic background. Walking into a gym can feel intimidating, but at Synergy Fitness you're never in it alone.

We focus on building a strong foundation by guiding you through proper movement and form. That helps you train safely and confidently while reducing the risk of injury.

Our goal is to make your start in fitness as smooth as possible while still challenging you to grow, improve and push your limits. We move together, push each other and grow stronger side by side.

What if I'm out of shape or haven't worked out in years?

That's where a lot of our clients start. Your first session is about understanding your history and where your body is today. Your plan builds from there.

What types of training programs do you offer?

In-person and virtual personal training, integrative health coaching, nutrition plans, 6-week and 12-week workout plans, and basketball skills training for ages 16 & under and 17 & up. Sessions can focus on strength & conditioning, bodybuilding, functional fitness & mobility, kickboxing or tactical fitness. See programs and pricing.

Are your coaches certified?

Sara earned her Personal Training Certification through ISSA in 2021. [Add Brandon's certifications.]

How do I book classes or sessions?

Fill out the form at the top of this page, or call or text (617) 356-7964. We'll reach out to set up your first session.

How are workouts customized to individual goals?

We start by learning your history, limitations and goals. Then we build a plan around how your body is actually moving, and we adjust it as you progress.

Do you offer strength training, cardio or hybrid programs?

Yes. Sessions can focus on strength & conditioning, functional fitness, kickboxing, or a mix of strength and conditioning work.

What makes Synergy Fitness different from other programs?

Team-centered training and a whole-person approach to mental and physical development. Both of our coaches have rebuilt after injury themselves, so we know when to push and when to meet you where you are.
